Great location in quiet sidestreet of residential area of Paris. Helpful and welcoming staff. Pretty little garden. Quiet, comfortable and spotless bedroom. A rare find for an expensive city well known for its wide variety of service / standards / friendliness / cleanliness / value for money. We will definitely return and recommend it to others.

Friendly staff, comfy beds, great breakfast. Ideally placed, only a 20' stroll to Arc du Triomphe! Visited Sacre Coueur and Montmartre. Boat trip on the Seine was very enjoyable. Would definitely stay at The Hotel Magellan again.

We booked through the AA Getaways website and this turned out to be a good deal. When the Eurostar got cancelled, the AA paid for an extra night with no quibbles. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. There was a good range of fresh breakfast choices to keep you going when site-seeing! Recommended.
