Excellent area in Montmartre, 1 minutes from Place Pigalle with two métro-lines: 2 and 12. The hotel is small and cosy and completely refurbished. The rooms are small too, but very well equipped. Hotel supposed to open in March. Now in April still under renovation. There was NO Ibis sign at the front -- name of previous operator still there. Taxi wasted our $$ driving round in search. We arrived at around 10.30pm direct from the airport, having informed the hotel of our late arrival. The Americans who were in queue ahead of us didn't get their room because they hadn't notified the hotel of their late arrival. They were offered a taxi to a sister Ibis......what else could they do at that time of night? We didn't... More

Due to 'open in March 2012' but still a mess on 29th March. No IBIS sign outside, so difficult to find. Look out for the waste skip in the road. Our room was 'finished' but had amateur paintwork, poor bath sealing, newspaper behind radiator (to keep paint off tiles), terrible join in skirting. Smoke detector was missing and air con... More
