A dirty shower, not cleaned. Old durty carpet, threadbare linen. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Spoiled impression of Paris!!! More

The best part about the hotel is it is central, very close to the metro and not too far from Gare Du Nord Station. Thats about it. The elevator was the smallest one I have ever seen in my life. The hotel is in a good spot. It's near the metro, within walking distance of Chatelet and has good little restaurants and cafes nearby. We stayed for three nights in this hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There are way better hotels in Paris, for the same price. We won't complain about the usual Parisian hotel problems - small rooms, old-fashioned furniture, bad beds - this hotel's got them all. There was no A/C even though the hotel website says it has. Our room at the front was very warm and noisy as it overllooked a very busy road. The room was very basic but clean.
