My adult son and I just returned from our memorable trip to Paris!. This hotel is in a great location...not so touristy but right by the metro...a darling little market nearby and lots of places to eat/drink and explore. We had a twin room that was VERY small...even by Paris standards I'm told. We literally had 18-24 inches around and...

We booked this hotel having read other reviews and were very pleased with the result. We had a standard double room for 3 nights and, although on the small side, it had everything we needed for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. My only criticism would be the lack of a kettle and...

This hotel is located in the Latin Quarter which is the perfect centralized location. It's within walking distance to the metro and close to many great restaurants. The area is not super touristy and we didn't encounter any gypsies in this area. The staff speaks English and is very helpful.
The hotel itself was perfect for us. The rooms even...

We visited in June, flying in to Charles de Gaulle. The hotel is walking distance from the metro. Although we were delayed and arrived late at night, as 2 females we did not feel unsafe walking to the hotel. Fortunately the reception was 24 hour and our check-in was quick and friendly with English speaking staff. The weather was good...

Nice hotel really close to Montmartre;
Is in the Latin Quarter full served by public transport, bus and metro.
The rooms are cleaned, a little bit small, in any case really confortable.
Breakfast is typically French, with croissants, jam and cheese.
I recommend it for location and good prices.

We enjoyed the location of this modern hotel in a city filled with history. It is on a busy street which could cause problems with light sleepers, but it didn't bother us at all. The staff is helpful and considering how expensive Paris can be we thought it was a good deal.

We have stayed here many times and rarely complain about anything here or anywhere else - pretty easy to please, but our visit was a disappointment.
First, the good: the staff was wonderful and the location is central to just about anything in :Paris via the subway.
The bad: no heat the first day and night, and it was very...

We were looking for a small, clean hotel near the Latin Quarter in Paris. Possibly near a Metro station and maybe a few markets or historic sights. The Hotel is on the rue Monge, near many restaurants and bars. The Metro was very closeby as well as Starbucks. The room was VERY clean but also VERY small. The view from...

I wasn't sure I would enjoy Paris, since I had loved stayed in small villages throughout France, however, Paris ranks up there along with the smaller places I stayed. Hotel de France was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were so very friendly and helpful and spoke English. They were helpful with suggestions, bus schedules and places to eat. It's located in...
