we were happy to have a hotel that is close to everything. the breakfast for 15 euro seemed too expensive and therefore we ate in bistros close to the hotel. this was cheaper and the bistros usually were nice and had that french feel ;) one thing that was really bothering was that the room ventilation was really loud. it... For our first-ever mother-daughter trip, my daughter and I went to Paris for the first time and stayed at this Hotel Magenta in April 2012, after having reviewed all the comments on TripAdvisor. It was perfect for the two of us. The hotel is a typical European budget hotel – modest but clean; not centrally located but surrounded by more... More

I stayed with my two friends at Hotel Magenta Paris in 2011. The concierge was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful with everything we asked - maps, directions, places to see and eat, everything. They were even more helpful when my wallet and passport got stolen! They helped me to get in touch with the police, they allowed my sister to book... More

We stayed at this hotel for eight nights as part of an Air Canada Vacations Package, and as such our room came to about $100 a night for two people with breakfast included. This was an exceptional deal. The hotel itself is located a little bit away from the main tourist attractions of Paris, but we were able to easily... More

We just returned from visiting this hotel last week. The hotel was clean and we had a basic room which had more than enough room, lovely views and a great bathroom for European standards. It is very close to Jacques Bonsergant stop on the Metro (seconds to walk), however the hotel itself is not close to anything if you are... More

We got a deal through Voyage Privé which made our 3 night stay very good value. Paid extra to upgrade to a deluxe room which was still small and limited. Bathroom was very small and a bit tired. Breakfast was fine and plenty of it. Great base from which to explore - metro very close, station 10 minute walk or... More

Stayed here for a total of 2 nights while travelling through Paris. The hotel itself seems to be very expensive at normal rates however we booked a last minute deal at a great price. The hotel itself is about a 15minute walk from the Eurostar (international) train station which is very handy if like us you travel in/out of France... More

We arrived severely jet lagged at 8am (check in isn't until the afternoon) and they stored our baggage for us. The staff's English was a good as out Francais so communication was slow but they staff took their time and answered all of our questions. The location was fantastic, we could walk to all of the places we wanted to... More

Was very pleasantly surprised by this modern 3 star hotel located just a 15 minute walk from Gare du Nord Eurostar Station. Impeccably high standards of cleanliness apply, wi fi is available throughout the hotel and the rooms are well equipped with king size beds and satellite television with sports channels. The reception team were exceptionally helpful with all our... More

I stayed here during the New Year's eve time. Hotel Magenta by itself is quite alright. Whole hotel was filled WIFI hotspots. Service was professional in English. At night the door was locked unless you ring the bell to make sure you were a tourist-like figure. I would say the purple / magenta color theme hid its aged building rather... More
