There are two hotels called Hotel Avenir in Paris, we wanted to stay in this one after reading the mainly positive reviews on Trip Advisor and seeing the excellent location. However we ended up booking the wrong hotel so be careful as the other hotel is horrendous!

the location is amazing, the price is cheap, its quite comfortable. what else do you need. if you plan on staying in the ritz you wont be bothered to come here and read reviews anyway. so if you are reading this, get the room on the 4th floor overlooking sacre couer. its amazing

This was a seedy shabby hole of a place. There were workmen everywhere when we went so maybe it will soon improve. There were three of us, me, himself and our grandaughter. A Basic 2* Paris Hotel which was clean and Fab location right by Montmarte. Metro across the street and a few stops you are at Notre Dame, Eiffel etc and a short walk from hotel up to the Sacre Coeur and a huge choice of restaurants a short walk!
