Hotel Le Turenne in Le Marais is a truly charming hotel. The location is perfect, the beds very comfortable, and the staff very friendly. They speak English without a problem. If you chose to stay in a room with a balcony, it can be a little noisy, but it is worth it for the view. Great shops and restaurants are... More

I have stayed at Hotel Turenne for two nights in February. The hotel is in a great location in the heart of the Marais district, just 300m from the Saint Paul metro. Plenty of shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel itself is of regular 3-star quality. I was given a double room, but still it was very... More

So we arrived on the Friday evening to be told that the lift was out of order. (I note from previous reviews that this was a problem 3/4 weeks previously!) The receptionist volunteered a 30 Euro reduction in the daily rate but he did not offer to help us take our bags to the third floor. He did however try... More

As a world travelers we sometimes come up against unforeseen challenges and one of the best or finest aspects of unknown situations is when people take responsibility and show real professionalism in the face of concerns. This hotel and its staff do just that and go over the top with trying to help a traveler enjoy their stay in this... More

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Turenne Le Marais for 3 nights in September, at the end of a 2-week European trip. I booked this hotel because the Marais hotels that were highly recommended to me were all booked (6-8 weeks in advance), and I was getting panicky about finding anything... I should have kept looking. On the plus... More

Yes, we got caught in the broken lift (elevator) drama in late August, but then it happened again a couple of weeks later in a somewhat more expensive hotel. It's a risk you face in a small hotel in an old building. The staff were very helpful, one of them bringing my less agile companion's suitcase down from the fifth... More

When we arrived we discover there's no satelite TV, then when that returns late the next day, the elevator doesn't work for a 5 floor trip up the stairs. Just when we thought things were finally all working our 3rd day, we return from hours of walking to get trapped in the very small elevator with another couple. It very... More

We tried two rooms: 407 and 207 due to air conditioning noise. The problem is with the type of air conditioner. Staff suggested earplugs. Please! Staff is nice but hotel seems very expensive for such a basic place. Would not stay here again. More
