We stayed 5 nights April 2012 as part of a well-organised tour by Newmarket holidays. It was the most expensive hotel they offered and the only one which served an evening meal, important for us as senior citizens reluctant to walk unknown distances in the evening in search of well-reviewed restaurants. . We did not have high expectations of the...

We stayed for three nights with a group of 37 others. Whilst the hotel is very convenient for visiting the old city of Carcassonne and was very clean and tidy, there were insufficient staff in the dining room. One person to serve all 38 left a lot to be deired. On three occasions I had to visit reception to ask...

We would definitiely stay if...

The hotel is in nice grounds with free parking which is most welcome although it was often full when I stayed there. A typical Accor hotel, friendly and efficient check in staff, clean...

Stayed in this area on a nostalgic trip for my husband who served in the ForeignLegion in the 80s and did his basic training in this area.
The Mecure is perfectly situated, just a 5 minute walk to the La Cite.
The hotel room was clean, modern and comfortable.
The staff were very helpful.
Our hire car was secure in...
