Just happened upon this unique and charming hotel on a wandering drive from Conques to Rocamadour. Very nice accomodations in the countryside with great views. Had no reservation but was welcomed heartily and accomodated without hesitation. On my list to return again on my next trip to the Dordogne.

My husband and I love to go to this restaurant, no matter what time of the year. The terrace is also a very nice and quiet place with fine views. We went there with friends who live in the area. It was the type of a meal that will linger in the memory for a long time - it was French food in a classic style. The wine list is extensive and very good for sampling the local wines. The Foie Gras was simply delicious. It is worth a visit.
