Four of us stayed here for just one night at the beginning of October 2011. The location is perfect for the train station which is just across the road & also the airport shuttle bus is just outside the station. The centre of Toulouse is about a 15 minute walk away which wasn't a problem for us at all. There... More

Phoenicia hotel is a hidden gem, a precious bijou if you consider the average next-to-train-stations-lodgements. It's a tiny familiar hotel, where you'll feel thearms of the city opens for you by Mme. Froissard, the very cult, smart and intensely welcoming proprietor of the business, as well as his husband. With a delicate, feminine touch on every detail, the hotel is... More

Just opposite of the train station "Gare Matabiau" (where the direct shuttle bus from the Airport ends), so very very easy to find it and to get there. Indeed next to a peep show, but to me it wasn't annoying as you hardly notice it. Definately not a dangerous area. It is 10 minutes walk to Jean Jaures (Metro B-line)... More

Well located small hotel within easy walk of station - 5 minutes with suitcase! rooms are small typical for France at the three star level but well appointed. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed two separate nights one week apart. More

This hotel is in a sleazy part of town. There were prostitutes and condoms on the street leading up to the hotel during lunchtime. The room we stayed in was overlooking a blank wall. The walls have stippling and painted bright yellow. The room is very small and the furniture is old and cheap. The "hotel" has NO parking even... More

I ws on the 5th floor, in a very small room, overlooking a major road and the Canal du Midi. There was quite a bit of road noise even at this height. The room was bare and cold. Breakfast was OK, with a choice of fresh fruit, croisants, bread, yoghurt, coffee. The hotel is apparently in a kind of red... More

We had an overnight stop in Toulouse and needed somewhere near the station for an early train the next morning. I booked this hotel a few days before our departure through lastminute.com, and got a reduced rate £60 instead of €72. I booked it mainly due to researching on Trip Advisor. The hotel itself was absolutely fine. Some others in... More

Staff is very friendly and helpful. A limited number of air conditioned rooms, breakfast was a little skimpy, and there's a vending machine for hypodermic needles on the front wall of the bar next door. The walk up to the city center takes you through the red light district. Quite an experience, and more than we bargained for... More

I don't really understand why this small hotel is rated so high in Toulouse. Rooms are small but adequate for the price, sound proofing is reasonable indeed, beds are good. However it is relatively far from the city center and the smallishness is apparent where ever you are. The breakfast is poor at most. The hotel is directly in front... More

Atel Phoenica Rooms were immaculate, front desk staff helpful/pleasant and the Continnental breakfast very good. The location is close to the train station, but only a 20 minute walk to the City Center and the provincal capital square. I give it a high rating for a 3 star hotel. Hi speed internet was available at no cost primarily a business... More
