Perfectly passable for an overnight transit...which is what we booked it for, having come on the TGV from Paris...on our way to Villefranche de Rouergue in the Aveyron. Don't expect too much though....reminiscent of Fawlty Towers....70s decor throughout.... At 130 euros (double bed + cot only....) for family of 4...I feel it was overpriced.
The bathroom was an unexpected highlight....

Best value. Small rooms but clean and well supplied. Staff friendly and very helpful. Good breakfast but waitress was run off her feet. Hotel is well located, close to everything in a nice area.
Would definitely return .

Reception is friendly enough, they will hold your suitcases before and after checkout. The hallways are smaller than in a regular house. You can hear everyone at any time, luckily people were pretty quiet at night, as were the streets. The room was very small and the bed was just big enough for two people, not so comfy, I didnt...

We stayed four nights in Hotel Albert 1er in April 2012. The hotel is 2 minutes walk to the grand town square and many tourist attractions. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The room must be recently renovated and is clean and surprisingly large. The bathroom is particularly pretty with cheerfully coloured and beautiful hand cut tiles. They gave...

We were 6 people travelling (3 couples). We stayed 2 nights, and we all had separate rooms. Our bathroom looked like it had been recently renovated, but another couple had an older style bathroom. Both were very clean. The staff are friendly, and speak english well. The hotel is located in a quiet side street, not far from shops and...

We stayed five nights in this hotel and we could find no fault with it. It is located right in the center, a couple of minutes away from the Capitole, shopping area, nice restaurants. The rooms are pleasant, quite large, stylish and very clean and the buffet breakfast caters for all tastes. I eat with very little salt and I...

On our way into Toulouse we stayed at a different hotel, but coming back we stayed 2 nights here, and what a difference! The price was only a few euros higher, but the accomodations were superior and the location great, (close to trendy shops, Victor Hugo market, and the Capitol). Rooms were big by Eurpopean standards, bathroom spacious, well lit,...

Good location in the middle of the action with a short walk to the main square (Capital). Bathroom was great with a powerful shower. Free wi-fi was useful and there was a small safe and bar fridge in the room which is always handy. We didn't try the breakfast in the hotel. TV has lots and lots of foreign language...

I stayed for 4 nights at the Albert 1er in Toulouse last week and received excellent service from Reception to chambermaid. They could not be more helpful and courteous no matter what it was I needed to find out or done. Reception staff spoke fluent English which was a great help to those like me who have minimal French. I...
