This is a classy joint but very expensive. The rooms are small and badly designed in terms of hanging clothes etc. They are also beautifully designed of course. Breakfast good but not included. L'Hermitage Gantois Hotel is a splendid place to stay in Lille,allthough being a little far to go on foot to the center of old Lille. Rooms are superb, breakfast with a good variety, evening meals either in the main restaurant or in the brasserie are OK. Nice to sip your drink when sitting in the covered inner yard. More

There is no private parking, but there is quite a bit of available street parking just outside which is free between 7pm and 9am, but outside of those hours you have to feed the meter every 80 minutes. Absolutely beautiful room with amazing bathroom. Fantastic bar in what used to be an outside courtyard but since renovation has a glass roof. The restaurant is expensive but the food is excellent. I stayed here for 1 night and was generally impressed. It is only a short walk from Lille Europe station. You are not in the centre of Lille and feel it, because there is not much around the hotel.
