This Chambre d'Hote could not have been any better. The setting, the building and the hosts were superb. We stayed in the Lavande room, which was very special. Caroline and Hubert were so friendly and helpful during our 3 day stay. They even served Rose and nibbles each evening, and chatted with the guests about their day. Breakfast on the... More

From the warm greeting by Caroline and Hubert to the gift of a lavender sachet as we left, this was a wonderful experience! Our Lavender Room was beautiful - what a fabulous color. Our hosts provided expert guidance of places to visit and restaurants to enjoy. They are totally bilingual. Breakfast on the terrace is delicious and in a great... More

We stayed for the weekend and really enjoyed it. Caroline was so helpful, with directions for arriving and then making us so welcome. She makes a fabulous breakfast and tea and coffee are provided any time of day. The rooms are decorated in great style and perfectly clean. She made great recommendations for evening meals and places to go. We... More

My wife picked this B & B as the "special" place to stay at on our journey through Provence. We were not disappointed. The décor and comfort were of the highest level, Caroline (owner/hostess/tour director) was outstanding in her ability to make you feel welcome. She also spent time each morning to ensure we had a well planned and enjoyable... More

We have just returned from helping to celebrate some friends' Golden wedding anniversary and stayed at this wonderful B&B on the recommendation of their daughter. It is just the most beautiful place set in stunning grounds conveniently near to Aix. We stayed in the Lavender room and every detail was perfect. A bathroom with L'Occitaine products, bathrobes and a hairdryer... More

My husband and I just returned from our visit to France. While visiting Provence for 4 days, we stayed in Aix-en-Provence at this B&B. We felt that Aix was a great place to stay for visiting St. Remy, the Luberon region, and Cassis. Of course, Aix on Thursdays is especially fabulous for all the markets that go on that day!... More

From the moment we arrived under the treelined driveway we knew this was some place special. Caroline and Hubert greeted us warmly with an incredible room and wonderful recommendations for the surrounding area. A storm welcomed us just as we finished lunch in town, but as we headed back to Le Clos Des Freres Gris the clouds broke and the... More

Greetings!!! My husband & I took a 2 day break in Provence on our way to Paris for work. I don't know where to begin in my praise for Le Clos des Freres Gris. Caroline & Hubert are 2 very warm, thoughtful and welcoming hosts. For the casual traveler, they run a great B & B, the bed (which is... More

The hotel is in a beautiful setting. The pool is stunning. The rooms are very nice and the breakfasts on the patio are super. Caroline is a good host. We found it very peaceful and a bit out of Aix en Provence which we liked but we had a car.
