The location is ideal, value for money is reasonable in overall. But if based on pictures provided and based on some reviews in tripadvisor you believe that you'll have a good class hotel, you are wrong. While the size of the room is good (maybe even 18-20 sm), the class of the hotel and the room is between 2 and...

Well positioned 2 star hotel in the middle of town offering bed and breakfast. Generally helpful staff, simple decor in the rooms, no lift so not easy for elderly or disabled visitors on the upper floors. Plenty of good sandwich bars and restaurants in easy walking distance.

This hotel was a great place to stay in the centre of the the old Avignon.
The lobby and dining area appear dark, dingy almost shabby and lack any character. The room on the other hand was bright, spacious with modern furnishing and clean linen. The room had a large tv but no english channels which appears to be common...

Avignon is beautifull. This hotel is right in the city centre. Nice rooms and service. The bed was comfortable. The only downside i could find was maybe the badroom. It could do with a refresh, but it was clean. So dont hesitate to stay in this hotel.

I nearly always base hotel selections on Trip Advisor recommendations, and boyoboy was I let down on this one. Danieli Hotel was an absolute dump, and I've traveled all over the world and have learned not to be overly picky about hotels, especially in developing countries. But this was France, for heaven's sake! It also was under renovation, meaning rolls...

One could not wish for a hotel with a better location in terms of proximity to trains, buses and the major attractions of beautiful Avignon. But if you happen to be there on a Samedi Nuit Blanche, request a room as far as possible from the streets and alleyways. This is because on selected Saturday nights, bars, nightclubs, museums and...

The Hotel Danieli is just off the main downtown square in Avignon. Six of us stayed there about December 1, 2011, and paid about $175 for triple rooms (a couple + sister, which split up to $58 each, really a good value for a straightforward hotel in this wonderful city. It is one block from the narrow-streets-converted-into-shopping-mall, and there are...

I and my family stayed in this hotel in August 2011. I was charged an extra 25€ five days after I left the hotel due, so they say, to a broken lamp found in the room. We didn't break any lamp or damaged any other thing in the room as I explained later. Of course we would have told in...

We got one of the larger rooms on the top floor - it was lovely, can't fault it. The room and bathroom were very spacious and very clean.
The location was good, only a 15-20 minute walk to the bus stop and train station and it was on the main street. It was also a 5 minute walk to Popes...
