"Average" is the word that best describes this hotel. I stayed there for a few days on a business trip, I originally wanted to stay at the nearby Sophia Country Club, which was fully booked. Some colleagues were staying at the Country Club and it is definitely much better than Mercure in many respects. Mercure has a nice garden, which... More

A last minute business trip with colleagues resulted in a stay at the Mercure. It is handy for the large business park that is Sophia Antipolis and that suited us on this trip. You need a car to get around here. If I had more time, I would have stayed in Nice or Antibes. The hotel is set in pleasant... More

Friendly staff but this hotel need a serious renovation. Bar was closed due to actual works. Room poorly furnished, no minibar, house keeper forgeting towel inside the bathtub. Few employees at the front reception. For a 4 star hote,l the level of services was minimum. with no laundry service on Monday November 1.due to long bank hollidays in France. Did... More

I remained at this hotel for 4 weeks. The rooms are bright and airy, and there is a nice garden. There is frequently a security presence at night, which is comforting, if you have had a big win at one of the nearby casinos. The restaurante and bar staff are very attentive, but in low season, the hotel has an... More

I have stayed three nights here on business including training in one of the meeting rooms. First impressions are that this is all very basic. In winter the restaurant is quite small and the menu limited. (In summer there is a lovely garden area which the restaurant extends into.) There is no mini bar in the room and the bar... More

As a previous reviewer noted, if you are expecting a solid three star hotel you’ll be pleased. The rooms are like the City Inn chain in UK, good but not lavish. I can see the point of the previous negative reviews, but improvements seem to have been made. Everyone was responsive and considerate. We checked in just as lunch service... More

Good hotel if you are having to work in Sophia. It is convenient to the technology park. The room was fine and there is a good work space. Parking was easy and plentiful too. Resturant was ok, there are better ones a short drive away, but this was more than adequate. More

Nothing special, a bit run down property which would need some renovation. My curtain had holes in it and my carpet was quite used. Rooms were clean and service correct. Breakfast was so so and the coffee horrible. Kind of what you would expect from an Accor Hotel. If you are used to Hilton, Sheraton, Marriott etc. ... you will... More

I was on a business trip in Sophia Antipolis and chose to stay in this hotel since it's only 5 min walk to my partner company. Yes there is nothing around this hotel and it should not be a holiday destination. The room was spacious but there was no minibar or fridge, instead I could buy some overpriced drink at... More
