This place was probably beautiful when it was built 50 years ago. It doesn't look like it's been updated since then. The "bedroom" was a bunkbed sized for kids. The sofa beds in the living room were OK if you don't mind the train rumbling by every few minutes (you will get a break from midnight to about 6am). We looked at a unit with a full sized bed in a bedroom that was just barely large enough for the bed. On the plus side, the parking was free and the view from the pool was lovely.

DO NOT STAY IN 215! Ugh the worst air B&B I have ever stayed in. The host, Betty is completely unresponsive. NO sheets only 2 extremely worn and old towels for a family of 3 AND THE AC DID WORK in the 2nd bedroom, only one small unit for 2 separate rooms and the air does not flow into the back bedroom. I am flabbergasted beyond belief. We are having to look for another place to stay and this is peak summer season but we are determined to find something reasonably and clean. Unbelievable. Even the refrigerator wasn't plugged in.... really? Nothing works in this rundown outdated place. WiFi is very spotty 🙄. We read the reviews and they looked decent. I feel like I've been duped into staying at Bates motel. Gross! Vacationer beware!

We were sharing a small apartment with another couple, good friends of ours. We found the location fantastic. A short walk to the beach and into Villefranch and Beaulieu. Close to bus stops and train station for trips into Nice and Monaco and further afield. The public transport system is brilliant and good value. By the way, the 100 bus is now the 607. The hotel itself is fine. Rooms are small but adequate. Everything is clean and tidy. There is a very nice pool. The only problem we had is that we didn’t realise that there is no one on reception on a Sunday, the day we arrived. However we managed to use the phone number on the front door which connected us to someone from the hotel and as a result we were able to open the key box and get into our room. If you are looking for a well situated, clean and tidy hotel this represents excellent value.

Excellent location. An easy 15 minute walk to restaurants in Villefranche and Beaulieu, 30 minute walk to St Jean Cap Ferrat. The apartment block is jaded and needs a refurb. The apartments are also tiny, the one we rented slept 5 ( tiny double room, small bathroom, kitchenette with no oven just hob/dw/ microwave and two sofas that would serve as single beds and one bed tucked away which would take up the whole floor area. I have stayed in bigger mobile homes. The pool is lovely but we were charged 5 euros each to use it for a day. We were given coloured wrist bands but were the only ones there with them, apparently the whole business arrangement between Pierre et vacances and customers/owners/apartments sublet independently is a mess. We requested air con, having heard that not all apartments were fitted with it. We were told by phone there would be a charge of " about 10 euros a day". We weren't charged. The place was spotless, the pool bar great Nearest supermarket was 15 minute walk away towards Beaulieu port, a far better one was 20 minute away by Beaulieu train station (Super U). We got an Uber back for 12 euros and stocked up on heavies. Will definitely return but will require cast iron proof of A/C . Seaview apt is essential.

We used to stay here in the '80s but when our favourite hotel in Villefranche (the Welcome) was closed for a month in February 2022 we decided to return here. Nothing has changed since the '80s and it's been cosmetically damaged for repairs over the years leaving the building looking very shabby. However, we sort of knew what to expect and just wanted a large apartment for a balcony for a few days with easy walking access to Villefranche and Cap Ferrat. The criticism is meant in the spirit of being constructive and we'd very likely return for the space and the location but it's getting tired and this need not be the case.

We’re just back from an autumn break in L'Ange Gardien in Villefranche. What a fabulous location with excellent facilities - the best of which is their rooftop swimming pool. Arthur on reception was so helpful and nothing was a problem (there’s something warm and helpful about staff working on the Cote d’Azur). Located 15 minute walk to Beaulieu and Villefranche. 10 minutes’ drive to Cap Ferrat. Lunch out in the African Queen on Beaulieu port didn’t disappoint and the service was first class. Then Sunday lunch in the Italian restaurant called Diva on the Quai Lindbergh in St Jean Cap Ferrat was just delicious (the French/Italian waiter there is terrific). I wanted to keep it a secret but I owe it to them to share our experience with you.

If you don’t mind heat and noise, this is a good place, as it has a nice swimmingpool (though very deep, no where to stand), clean appartments and lots of kitchen equipmemt. The beach is just a little walk & long staircase away. If you want a quiet and cool night in Summer, look further. The little bar has limited opening hours and the supermarket is 15 minutes walk away.

The location of the residence is perfect, the views out to sea from the apartment balcony between the Cap Ferrat and Ville-Franche peninsulas are stunning. Set halfway between Nice and Monaco there is no need for a car as the local bus and train services are so reliable. The local town of Beaulieu-sur-mer is also a short walk away. The apartments are also fitted with all the necessary appliances for people and families who wish to eat in.

Stayed for 4 nights as a family of 4. On arrival at 5.30pm reception was closed, phone number displayed to call to get code for the safe on the wall with our apartment keys. Receptionist requested that we came to reception the next morning to pay tourist tax and breakages deposit (although this got forgotten about thankfully as €200 seems a bit steep). We had to make our own beds up on arrival which we weren't expecting, apartment was meant to sleep 5 and there was a pull out bed under the sofa bed but no real space for it to have gone in. Kitchen facilities were limited to a hob, fridge, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. Handy for the bus stop on the road outside the hotel for buses into Nice and Monaco, essential if not driving. Train station is a 10/15 min walk along the beach (although poorly lit in the evening), we found this the easiest way as the alternative is very hilly. Info prior to arrival suggested the pool was only open from May to Sept but it was still being used late October. It was clean and a handy base to use but I think we would look at somewhere more central in future as became heavily dependent on public transport which was limited when returning from dining out in Nice of an evening.

It was never stated of a charge of €10 per day for air conditioning and the price of €8 per day per person for the use of the pool. Great location but we arrived at noon and had to wait untill 15:00 to check in due to reception hours. I have stayed at this property four times but unfortunately will be the last
