Hotel Esterel is about 15 mins walk to Old Port. We were 3 people staying at a quadraple room with two double beds. There is a bathroom (shower, sink, toilet) in the room, and a balcony with a great view. We paid about 160 euro for 2 nights (July 2010)

The hotel is located on one of the ritziest streets in Marseille and also near a metro stop and Old Port area. The reception is friendly and was nice enough to offer complimentary hot chocolate to me and my friend when we came running in looking like drowned cats because it was pouring outside!
