The staff were fantastic. Helpful everyday and really friendly.nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing. My husband and I heartily recommend the company and the accommodation .The hotel was directly opposite the ski lift and central to all amenities .They organised all ski hire and lift passes during the connecting coach trip to take the hassle out... We've just returned from Cascades and each member of our group of 5 would happily return. The location is excellent, you can boot and board up and be on the slopes in 5 minutes. Also, the free ski bus to 1850 goes from just down the road which is also handy if you fancy a change of scenery. The rooms... More

Can't believe some of the negative reviews from others. This is an EXCELLENT chalet with the only downside the small size of the rooms. It's right in the middle of 1650 and is bang opposite the main ski lift. We had a small room on first floor at front of hotel - perfect for watching the fireworks mid-way through the... More

We had booked via 'Iglu' and had read the reviews about the small rooms on the 1st and second floor. But did not want to pay a surcharge for rooms at the back of the hotel. You could just about walk around the bed, a double. French doors opened out onto a balcony over a bar. With no way to... More

Went with several friends on a Total Ski package to Courchevel and we were placed in the Cascades hotel/lodge. Rooms are adequate; limited storage space, nowhere to hang stuff to dry, lighting poor. Toilet / shower clean and enough power in shower but limited room to turn around. Beds ok, room hot at night but could open door to balcony... More

As with previous reports, staff were excellent. Cheerful, friendly and efficient. On the whole, food was good, especially breakfast. Room 300 (the room shown in Ski Total brochure) was very large, good views, and quiet at night. However, it was sadly lacking in storage space - only a small metal coat rail with 5 coathangers and four small shelves, (you... More

My husband and I and our two boys (9 and 11) were in Chalet Cascades 17th-24th February. We chose valley facing rooms on the third floor, which were fab- what a beautiful view- bigger than most we've had on skiing holidays, seemed newly refurbed, and even though we were next to the lift, very quiet. Even the very noisy family... More

My wife and I have just returned from a week at Cascades. We had already booked to stay this Christmas before our trip - and we were not disappointed. Ski holidays are all about compromises. We have stayed in 5 star catered chalets but then compromised on location. Cascades is not 5 star - but it it very clean, comfy, and... More

Just returned from a week in Chalet Cascades in Courcheval 1650 with Ski Total. It was just excellent. I cant thank the staff enough. The rooms were great, really good size, quiet and we had a fantastic view of the valley from our balcony. Meals were good standard, wine was surprisingly quafable and the chalet team couldn't have been more... More
