Great for family needing multiple rooms! They have adjoining rooms at a fair price. There was plenty of parking and restaurant in the hotel. Staff were very friendly. The views from the windows were gorgeous.

I booked a Queen bed as on booking form, and was given a French bed shoved against a wall, with one pillow. When I complained I was directed to a computer. Why? I have no idea. For this ordeal I have been billed A$116, outrageous.

Very nice hotel, with confortable bed, good location. Although ski season was over it's a good base for visiting both bavarian castles and Austria city of Salzburg and neighbourhood. Room is clean, reception staff friendly, we were also granted a free pass to several local entertainment facilities.

The staff at the Mercure, Garmisch provided me with a very well appointed , comfortable room. The staff were all courteous and happy to help me out, particularly with directions around the local area. My room was a suite with attached bathroom. The TV had 300 channels ! For a minute I thought I was back in the DDR. The architect of this building must have been schooled in the socialist tradiition. This hotel is not up modern standards, at least not for the price they charge. The rooms are big enough, but the bathrooms are very small, equipped with a bathtub. Not a good place to stay... More
