Found this old hotel to be a great stay. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a "family" room which provided us with plenty of space. This hotel is reasonably priced, centrally located, the staff is super, and the room (although small) was well done. We got a family room, which was more of a suite and the kids had bunk beds and their own little table. The shower also came with a plug so we could use it as a small tub for the kids.... More

The hotel is a remodeled building in historic Rothenburg, inside the old walls, and has a wonderful atmosphere. We love it here. We stayed once as a couple in 2004, and came back in 2010. The staff are lovely and the parking is easy. The hotel is close to everything in Rothenburg in the old town so there is no need for transport etc. Prices are always good and breakfast is plentiful and lovely. Will stay again. More

I was slightly apprehensive after reading all the positive reviews of this hotel, but quite frankly, it is a terrific establishment. Excellent location in the heart of historic Rothenburg, not terribly difficult to find, easy parking, huge room with excellent bath, all well decorated in an historic and intriguing building.
