Review of Jugendherberge Berlin Am Wannsee
Fri May 3 We were able to make arrangements for a Friday morn ride from Mainz to Jugendherberge Wannsee, a hostel about 35minutes outside of Berlin. We checked in (17€ each, including breakfast) at 1400 then took the light train (S Bahn, 2.40€ each. 35 minutes) from Nickolasee to Brandenburg Gate, in downtown Berlin....

1 month tour of Germany-. 2 adults and 2 youth. Thought this hostel was ok. It's next to a nice forest to walk around and a couple of fast food joints if you get sick of the hostel food. Was very easy to drive to and the u-bahn station isn't too far to catch to downtown. No elevators in this...

This was really all I'd expect from hostel accomodation at this price. The rooms were comfortable enough, though the shower lock system was a bit confusing (they only locked from the outside and you could access it from the room next door - I tried pulling the bench down as another reviewer suggested but you could still push the door...
