The hotel is located right next to Mauerpark, so on Sundays it's a very short walk to the flea market. Furthermore, there's a tram station within 50 meters of the hotel, that takes you either to the nearby U-bahn station (U Bernauer) or Eberswalder str, which is filled with pubs and restaurants.
