We recently booked to stay in this hotel, as no other hotels in the area were available, we booked using booking.com, and whilst it boasted of being near to the center, with wifi, and lovely double rooms, this was not the case. Ask for room not facing road. Lots of noise from the street at night and with no aircon, and windows open its too disturbing. we stayed on weekend night and there was heaps of commotion. area slightly out and rough. need car for this site. they have free parking. breakfast had good options. More

I booked this hotel to spend a weekend in Hamburg, after having read it´s adversitsing on several sites. This described it as: - 2 train stops away from the main station - Central and near the harbour Both were true, but really stretching the definition. the hotel is situated in Hamburg-Veddel outside the city centre near the harbour, but easy to get (20 minutes by s-bahn train and bus or directly with bus 34 from the centre). bus stop is in front of the hotel.
