I found this hotel really beautiful. The room was spacious and with nice design. Really liked the wooden floor. Nice SPA area, very big with sauna and swimming pool. Would prefer if it would not be for nudists though. Also don't like that they charged for internet in the room. There is a free internet point in the lobby. Central... More

Stayed over for 1 night in this Hotel. Room was very large and quiet, there is free entrance to the Therme for Hotel guests which was great value and a very relaxing experience. The Therme was open till midnight, so even when you arrive in the evening, there is still plenty of time to enjoy. We ate at the Hotel... More

There are two Mauritius Hotels in Cologne, owned by the same company. One is a standard hotel, right downtown near the Rhine, and it's probably a perfectly nice place, but I have never stayed there. When in Cologne I always stay at the Mauritius Hotel & Therme, which is the "sister hotel" of the other, but is basically a hotel... More

a complicated review in a way. the hotel and the restaurant are a bit different review-wise then the sauna-area. to start with the sauna: just amazing! huge, many different sauna's, steambaths, massage areas and so on. clean, very friendly staff. only bad thing is that once you are in this sauna, it is very hard to get out and see... Unless one is looking for a spa in the middle of a city - and as a city traveler I do not see why would one would enjoy a heated indoor pool, skip the Mauritius when visiting Cologne. In my understanding this hotel, well past it's best, was conceived during the booming years of Western Germany, when everyone with a... More

We wanted to have a quiet two days in one of Germany´s biggest little cities. This hotel was perfect. The spa enabled us to chill out after the long flights. The city is beautiful in the evenings with the "Altstadt" being so close, bars, discos, the river ...all a perfect charm. The people are very nice and friendly..the rooms nicely... More

Our room was nice, the swimming pool and jacuzzi great, and there is a little bar/cafe you can eat in with your robe on. The staff was nice too. We arrived in Cologne on a very hot day with the temperature well into the 90's and found that none of the room have a/c. They did bring up an electric... More

Lovely hotel within walking distance of the main shopping area, Cathedral and Christmas Markets. Good sized rooms with free access to the spa facilities for hotel guests. Bathrobes, towels and slippers can be hired for 5 euros a set for use in the spa. Freen locker key on request from reception. Warning to those unused to spas in Germany, this... More

We travelled to Cologne and were told by German friends that we had to experience a spa, as Germans love their thermes. Having forgotten to pack swimwear, we chose the Mauritiius as it was the only spa we could find where nudity is compulsory, which suited us fine.. Despite being British, we are not prudish about our own nakedness thankfully.... More

Great Spa in this hotel - if you are looking for a spa break, I would recommend this hotel - not recommended for business non-spa trips, as guests walk around hotel in bathrobes - might be weird if you are in a suit! Note: everyone is naked (!) in the spa bit, men & women - if that is not... More
