We booked a 3-bedroom for a 1 day party trip to Duesseldorf. Price was was 120 Euro with discount by booking via internet. So, in total for each 40 Euro which is perfect. Hotel itself is simple and you can't expect that much but rooms were clean and it is located not that far from the famous Altstadt (4 km).... More

We have just returned from a trip to Europe. Five countries, 7 different hotels. Berliner Hof Garni in Dusseldorf is a disgrace. We booked 2 double rooms for one night. One for my husband and I and the other for our two adult sons. We encountered a positively unenthusiastic, unpleasant close to rude receptionist. I explained to him that our... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night as I was attending a concert. I was looking for a hotel near Dusseldorf Hauptbahnhof, so I got this one. It was a 10 minute walk from the station in a bit of a boring area. I arrived pretty early and I knew the room wouldn't be ready but I wanted to... More

DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel is without doubt the worse accommodation I have stayed in, in over 25 years of business travel. We were there during the EuroShop event so we paid a premium plus 600 pounds (not euros) for three people for two nights. There was no tea and coffee in the room but you could buy it... More

Lausy hotel. Aeroflot service. Be aware of the trick this hotel playing. I booked hotel. On arrival they said my booking is not confirmed as they could not manage to work out what to do with a credit card. They said that they have rooms 40% expensive than in booking confirmation and small 3 bed room instead of regular 1... More

The Berliner Hof markets itself as a city centre hotel, don't believe it, the Altstadt (nightlife area) and Königsallee (shopping area) are a 15 minute taxi ride away, there's no direct tram or bus routes and the way into the centre isn't so obvious either, you're stuck in a rather gloomy and slightly gritty working class suburb of Düsseldorf. Rooms... More

This hotel is run by a Russian family who were unfriendly from the start. The rooms were acceptable apart from blood stained sheets and a metal cot for one of the beds. However on checking out of the hotel we were advised we had broken furnture in one of the rooms to the cost of 200 euros. This was clearly... More

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I cannot stress this enough!! Dusseldorf is a great city and we had a great time here, but this hotel is terrible, even though it was very cheap to book. Firstly, alhough there are quite a few rooms, we were the only people there, apart from a German couple, which we found a little odd as... More

Just wanted to say I was disappointed with this hotel. Four of us have spent the last 10 days travelling Germany for thw World Cup & on the whole the hotels have been very good value. However, we paid more here than at any other hotel (all 3 star) and the Berliner Hof was disappointing. The reception was understaffed (at... More
