This was our last stop on the way back to the US. After spending a week in teeny hotel rooms throughout Europe we were amazed when we stepped into our room at Villa Viktoria. It was HUGE. We had a living area downstairs and bed upstairs in a loft. This room was probably 4 times the size (at least) of... More

Quite nice hotel, but needs a little bit refurbishing. Old filthy carpets is not my thing at all. But the service was good and so is the location. Maybe other rooms are better than mine? I might stay there again. More

My colleague booked me into the Villa Viktoria with apologies: none of the major hotels had available rooms due to a series of large congresses in Duesseldorf. But he need't have as Villa Viktoria turned out to be a delightful place to stay with a tranquil old-world field, large comfortable rooms furnished with a library, a lovely and tranquil garden,... From the moment we stepped into our suite we were so pleased. Huge rooms with the children downstairs - clean - friendly staff - a short taxi ride into Dusseldorf - could not fault it. The children enjoyed the sweets and cakes from the reception !!! More

The hotel is the only suite hotel in Düsseldorf - rooms are 60 sqm. and larger and equipped with everything including a small kitchen. All is modern, though the building itself is an old villa beautifully restored. Rooms are absolutely sound proof and windows open - no noise to be heard. With only 40 suites, service is very personal and... More

I selected this hotel from what people said on Tripadvisor. For me, it was reasonably priced, my room was huge, the staff were very helpful. There is a great breakfast available, but it is 20E. It is situated in a quiet area, and the area seems to be working class. It is a convenient 10min tramride to central Dusseldorf and... More

they claim the hotel has only suites: too bad that our room, to make it a suite, was a single space with the bed boxed in a wooden structure. The result of that is that the bed room had NO WINDOWS! practically a cell. also the rest of the hotel is not that elegant and special. quite disappointed. More

Whilst this hotel is not so central as its in a residential street, the rooms are so enormous it was beyond words. They were like a small apartment. Clean, well fitted, and all together a great hotel, staff were extremely friendly, breakfast brilliant. Not much to fault actually. EXCEPT we were there when it was 32 degrees celcius and the rooms... I stayed at this hotel in November for the big A + A show. As always, I am breaking my review down to the great, good, bad, and ugly and offering some 'bottom line' comments. Then, I will answer what I think should be THE review question for any hotel - would I stay there again(?) Here goes . .... More

I stayed in this hotel while in Dusseldorf for a wedding. It is considered a Small Luxury Hotel of the World. It was a very nice Victorian style hotel and we had an extremely comfortable suite. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and kind and the breakfast, which was not included, had quite an array of delicious foods to choose... More
