“Cosy small hotel”

Hotel am Rathaus (don't know why it is called 'El Rancho' in Tripadvisor?) is a small cosy hotel in the middle of Altstadt. Stayed here while visiting a number of friends in Dusseldorf and accommodation was at a premium because of a Messe. Very friendly staff. I was lucky enough to get the top floor room which has a small roof terrace. Not noisy despite being in the heart of the Altstadt. Great location. Would definitely stay again. More

Myself & my wife and 2 young daughters stayed there for weekend. It is in a fantastic location right in heart of Alt Stadt (old town) in Markt platz. Our room overlooked the beautiful Christmas Market there literally 6 feet from our hotel door. The excellent friendly staff provided our 2 daughters with 2 extra beds at no additional charge... More
