I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had an excellent stay. The location of the hotel couldn't be better - it is a moment from the main train station and a short stroll into the city centre. Although my room didn't have much of a view, it was nice a quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Staff... More

There is nothing wrong with the totally renovated Hotel Furstenhof - only with the neighburhood and Leipzig itself! Next to the hotel where it shows a tree on the picture, is an old town hall (?), a bulding which has not been touched since 1938 and is an absolute disgrace to this city! Leipzig itself looks - in May 2012... More

This was my first trip to Leipzig. I found this conveniently situated just a short walk from the train station and another across the street to access the city center. My room was spacious, quiet and I slept great even though I usually have trouble with some hotel mattresses. The staff was very attentive and when I asked for an... More

It is a short stroll along an ugly and noisy street from the central station to the hotel. Check-in is quick and easy. We had room # 222 facing a quiet side street. Three steps down divide the hallway and the bathroom from the cosy living-room. The large bathroom has a tub and a separate shower (it helps being an... More

Aristocratic chic and luxury in a small wonderful hotel. Our balcony was out to the patio and the old church, separating one of the walls of our hotel. Here everything is full of soul.. the hallway, elevator, restaurant, lobby, etc. Constant compliments from the staff in the form of a wonderful German chocolate - Mmmmm, it was so nice! Bathroom... We stayed three nights in order to run the Leipzig half marathon so wanted a hotel with a fitness centre and pool for warm up and relaxation. This hotel was much better than expected - right from the very friendly greeting at reception in fluent English. The room was large, comfortable and quietly located overlooking a side road. The ambience... More

We don't usually stay in 5 stars now that we no longer have an expense account. But for 120 euro who could resist? Our room was charming located under the roof. I am sure at some time it was servant quarters. The bathroom was fairly small but had a separate toilet. Very comfy bed with lovely big soft pillows. As... More

I stayed there on business and luckily arranged a rate including breakfast and internet. Breakfast is worth paying for but charging for internet access is annoying. The restaurant and wine bar are great, both service and food. The rooms can be small but generally very nice - comfortable, well appointed and heated floors in the bathroom (it was -20C when... More

We (family of 4) stayed in this beautiful hotel for three nights. The rooms are relatively large and well appointed. The location is excellent for shopping, train station (5 min. walk) and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was awesome - including the champange! The pool, spa and sauna are the best we've experienced. The staff are helpful and friendly. The only... More

we would thoroughly recommend this hotel. We chose a grand deluxe room as there was a special offer when booked through lithe hotel website which included breakfast. the hotel feels like a boutique hotel. Incredibly elegant without being stuffy. Checkin was fast and our room was brilliant with a large balcony. Two was hand basins and separate bath (proper sized... More
