The hotel is out of the city, almost 5 km to the downtown. The room is less then the IBIS standard. For my prospective it was good, we just stopped my car in the parking in the free parking area, the room was warm and and the day after we continued our trip. I suggest this hotel only for people...

Quiet.
Good location.
Few persons in this begin of November.
And Erfurt is a very nice town.
We were 2 adults and 3 children - 2 rooms
We stayed only one night.
The wifi internet should be free and easy availbily from the rooms should be impoved.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ibis Hotel at Erfurt Ost. The staff were excellent, cheerful and happy and very helpful. The hotel as a whole was excellent. Just what you want with a budget hotel, clean, quiet and with a very good breakfast. If we are ever in the are again we would certainly stay...

This hotel's location next to road networks is an advantage if you want to visit the city center and it's environments. It's quite central for visiting historical and cultural highlights such as Weimar, Buchenwald, Arnstadt and others.
