Very easy to get to the hotel (bus from Airport stops outside!) or it's about 5 minutes walk from the bus/train station. Easy to get to the beach (10-15 minutes walk), Rambla, Paseo etc.
The hotel staff spoke enough English but generally cafe, shop etc staff speak little or no English so make sure you've got your phrase book ready....
