Trying to find this place really put a strain on our relationship. We were using Google maps but there are so many one-way streets that are narrower than Paula Deen's arteries. The place itself was okay. The main reason we stayed here was because it was cheap and it had a parking garage. On the day we checked out, they... More

This is a fairly simple place down a quiet street but not far from the action. It is a short walk to the major tourist sights as well as many restaurants. We thought the decor was simple but it was clean and the staff helpful. If you don't have a map in hand it will be hard to find it... More

Simple and pleasant rooms overlooking quiet and private courtyards. A gentle breeze seems ever present, when the windows and wooden shutters are left open. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent. If you haven't studied the map, it may take a little effort to find, but that's the nature of staying in the old Jewish quarter... We stayed two nights at the Albucasis. If this is your first trip to Cordoba, we suggest that you take a taxi from the train station to the hotel. The taxi is not very expensive and the hotel would be very difficult to find on your own. The location is excellent for visiting the Mesquita, the Synagoga, the Albayzin, many... More

Although we had made a reservation over the tel. this wasn't found on arrival. Luckily although high tourist season the establ. had very few guests(?), so accomodated us. At the end of our stay we paid our bill. All seemed to be in order. When we got home we found out why our reservation had not been found, a month... More

Our satnav got us into a right mess trying to find this hotel, which is in the middle of a traffic restricted and one way system area where the streets are very narrow only fit one car. My advice is to print out a map before you arrive as a backup, because the satnav was unable to get us there... More

This is a no-frills hotel but its location and helpful staff made it a very good place to stay. It's within easy walking distance of the main sights of Cordoba, including the Mezquita, the Alcazar, the Jewish quarter, and many restaurants and shops. All rooms look out on the patio so it's very quiet. Our bathroom was large and very... More

I traveled with 2 other friends and we stayed in a very decent triple room for about 80 Euros a night. We found the staff to be very accomodating and helpful. The staff spoke excellent English and made very good suggestions on places to eat and visit. The room was cozy yet always super clean. The bathroom was very spacious.... More

This small hotel in the old city is in a great location and staff are helpful and friendly. If you are driving a car to the hotel beware! quite difficult to navigate the narrow, oneway streets! We hired a taxi and followed it in! More

Albucasis is probably the best hotel we used during our fortnight in Andalusia. The entrance through a tunnel, into a charming courtyard and on to the lobby is striking. Quiet, on a narrow side street, I sat in their courtyard to write letters. The best part is the room decor...very spartan, no TV, just two beds with a window (with... More
