The breakfast served by Rose the owner was the best to date. We felt very comfortable as soon as we arrived. If you are driving arrive as early as you can -- parking could be complicated. This was a good choice made by my wife.

We stayed here one night on a whirlwind tour of Southern Spain. From the start, Rose made us feel welcome by offering us hot tea, of course properly prepared, which was hard to come by in Spain. The parking situation is typical of very old European cities, which is to say it is not great, but Rose helped us out...

We loved Casa Julio Verne - it combined a great location with great accommodation. We really enjoyed staying in a typical Spanish village and sampling the tapas bars and my husband and his brother were spoilt for choice with the number of golf courses which are within easy reach.
The hosts are very welcoming and the property is beautifully presented...

Casa Julio Verne was exactly what we were looking for; A fabulous old property in a typical Spanish village with loads of things to do in the area - The Real Spain! The owners usually run this as a luxurious B&B (although we were self catering) so the house has everything you could possibly need with all the nice touches...

Don't know where to start !! I want to say - don't tell anyone about this special place, but that is entirely selfish. There will be many superlatives in this review and I will try not to repeat them but bear with me, it's not going to be easy. Julio Verne deserves to be experienced by anyone who is looking...

We booked to stay here after reading reviews on Tripadvisor and reading about it in Alistair Sawdays guide. We weren't disappointed. Well furnished, comfortable bedroom and sitting area; bathroom with loads of soaps, shampoos, etc. Every where was clean and tidy with loads of the small decorative accessories that that give the place that extra bit of charm. Extensive views...

We stayed at the Casa Julio Verne B&B the last week of May, 2007. It was a very authentic Andalusian experience - the boutique hotel is perched high atop a white-washed Spanish village called San Roque - named after the Rock of Gibraltar, which the hotel overlooks. It was a very pleasant and intimate experience, as if you were staying...

We spent 2 nights at this wonderful and serene house in August 2007. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing few days away from the spoilt areas of the Costa del Sol and Casa Julio Verne answered all our needs.
Rose and Sagi are excellent hosts, opening up their house to their guests and making anyone feel right at home...

We booked these lovely rooms through the 'Inns of Spain' website -- and Casa Julio Verne absolutely was one of the best experiences we had in Spain. From the warm welcome, excellent breakfast meals, help with travel activities .... we were made to feel right at home. Rose was an excellent hostess.
Casa Julio Verne is comfortable, clean and modern....

We booked two nights in September 2006 through secretplaces.com.
We wanted a quiet couple of days in a small village with good views and which could be reached fairly easily by public transport (in this case by bus from Malaga). This Casa and San Roque fitted the bill perfectly.
The views from the roof top terrace are stunning. There's a...
