For a 2 star Hostel this place is simply brilliant. Puts 3 and 4 star hotels to shame. Very Friendly staff, excellent location, beautiful downstairs decor, food is excellent and prices are competitive .. why stay anywhere else ? If there is one problem with the Guadalupe is that its small (only 18 rooms) so it fills up up quickly.

We stayed at the Melia Hotel next door but had drinks there and twice a delicious meal. Their menu is rightly priced with a starter / main / dessert for under Euro 15. We visit the Guadalupe to have a day or two away on the coast, as we live in the Spanish countryside. On every visit we have been impressed with the service, the standard of the rooms and the friendliness of all the staff.The Hostal is also in a fantastic location can't understand why anyone would want to stay anywhere else.
