The hotel location is very convenient if you are visiting Granada as a tourist. No major complaints but ... . My wife and I were travelling with another couple. Our friends booked the same type of room as we did (superior double room). The rooms varied significantly one from another. One of the rooms was much smaller than the other... More

Don't ever use Googlemaps directions to get to this place. Park in a 24 hour garage and take a taxi. We nearly got stuck -literally- trying to follow map directions. Loved the location. Staff got us reservations to a Flamenco show and the Alhambra. Beautiful frescos in the main lobby. Wear warm clothes or travel with extra blankets as the... More

If you get the two level duplex and it is a cold day, the small wall heater is not enough. You will be very cold. Try getting a room closer to the lobby to test if the wifi reaches. Our room 30 did not. Great location, 100 yards from main square, and in beginning of maze. More

We had following experiences on the negative scale: the bed was very hard, the noice from night club was totally disturbing between 2-4 a'clock. The heating was not functioning in one room (it was around 5-8 C outdoors). One room had smell from draining system. TV had too short cable to work etc etc. Can not recommend, too pricy, breakfast... the location is good to explore the Albaicin but parking is very difficult. The place is quite run down (sofas with ripped fabric), the matrasses are very hard and there was a torn tissue laying in the entrance hall on the floor for 24 hrs and nobody picked it up....the shower head was broken but immediately replaced. Nevertheless it could... More

I do not see myself as a rude person, but having travelled the world and stayed in all sorts of hotels from 2 to 5 star, I can say, that never have I woken up with the feeling that I slept in a sewage tank! This hotel has all the beautifull and fantastic aspects others have described, however, it truely... More

This restored 16th C palacio was exactly as we had hoped - everything about it is exaclty as described on the hotel web site and the photos are entirely accurate. I found the pricing very reasonable - possibly even cheap - and would happily stay here again. Our room was pleasant but not large and best described as cute -... More

Having stayed here before, three years ago, and having spent a year living in Granada in 2001 (when I happily booked the hotel for various family and friends) I was a little disappointed on this stay. The room was in desperate need of a refurbishment, the iron bedsteads were coming away from the walls, bulbs needed replacing, the bathroom sinks... More

This hotel was billed as a redone gem, and the lobby was somewhat shabby but indeed interesting. The front desk staff spoke English and was friendly, and the location is fine. However, the room was very dark, with splintery wood, a safe which had been drilled out by someone, a rock hard mattress that crinkled (horse hair?), a staircase to... More

After several hours of being lost we found this hotel and were greeted by a very surly and frankly rude receptionist, who seemed annoyed when we didn't want tickets to the Al Hambra or a Dance show. This Hotel is dark and the rooms are small. in the room which had light bulbs that didn't work and a broken shower... More
