I don't quite know what to say about this hotel. It was a mixed experience, so I"ll get the negatives out of the way before giving credit where it is due. Firstly, the lobby odour is quite pungent and although this is said to be a weather related issue, I can't help feeling this is an excuse for something which... More

This was a wonderful choice in Seville. Every floor is dedicated to a different painter, and each room door part of one of their paintings, so you feel like you're living in an art museum. The rooms are very modern though, with curtains and lights that are meant to activate as you enter the room (didn't work in our room... More

Stayed in this hotel 4 days, three nights. Sleeping quality is perfect. Breakfast is absolutely fabulous, also at 10.30 hrs! Staff in incredible. A little terrace on the roof with sunbeds was very welcome at the end of the days to rest a while in the lovely sun. The smell in the entrance is indeed not so nice. Maybe they... More

Were first given room 414, which is internal facing a courtyard, dark and a slight smell of drains, asked to be moved. The only room they had was a suite 404 but this was extra and we decided to take it. Fabulous room well worth the cost and it came with 'Red Level' membership, again excellent but the exact additional... More

We stayed in this hotel for two days and we enjoyed it. It is located on walking distance of the city center. The check-in was quick and we had a nice room on the 7th (top) floor. It was a superior panoramic room with a view of the city. The breakfast is very good, the staff really cares about you.... More

The hotel is great in the center of Seville. Design interiors - each floor is dedicated to the works of a single Spanish painter, for instance - Velázquez, Murillo, Goya. Services are expensive, but well worth it. Red level for guests their breakfast room, attached waiter and manager, rooms are comfortable and roskoshnye. All staff are extremely attentive. At check-visite we... More

We have decided to spend 5 days in Sevilla and have hesitated between a classical palace and this more "stylished" hotel. Result : Great people, very good customer service. Loundge bar and the restaurant (hype tapas bar) are also very pleasant : We really have enjoyed our stay at this place.

The first feel of the hotel was meeting rude staff, the taxi drivers and the concierge are linked up in freezing the guest and are very rude , the rooms allotted to us face inner courtyard peeing into other rooms , The staff at the breakfast restaurant was pleasant for a change , we will never recommend this hotel to... Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Grand Melia Colon, check in was a bit slow (computer system issues) but the staff are so friendly and polite, also an ice cold glass of cava on arrival was much appreciated. The room was huge, clean and the bed very comfortable. Lighting system very weird and hard to work out even... More

The Gran Melia Colon Hotel in Seville lives up to its 5 star rating. At check in, there is a nice soft chair sit on at reception, plus a glass of champagne to sip on while checking in. After check in, we were escorted to our room by charming hostess who explained all the amenities in the room. The room... More
