Our tour director hinted that this was a "special hotel" and yes, it was. It's like a castle and you can get yourself lost in there. My husband and I stayed there 2 nights from April 30 2013, and we had a hard time finding our way to the breakfast room on the first morning! The lower ground floor (or... More

This hotel was fairly expensive, but accommodations were average at best. The walkways and gardens were run down and in need of upgrade. Our room had an odd unlit step in the hallway near the bathroom that made navigating at night extremely unsafe. Wi-Fi, available only in the lounge was spotty at best. Location was good, staff assistance was so-so.... More

We stayed in this hotel, for a little longer than planned, due to the Air Traffic Control strike. We found it excellent. The staff are helpful and efficient, the room was comfortable and clean, and the subterranean passages, hidden patios and rooftop pool all add to its charm and uniqueness. Breakfast was plentiful and items were quickly replaced as necessary,... More

Each April I make a point of visiting Seville, the sights, sounds and smells of this beautiful and historic city bring back so many lovely memories. This year, as always, the first job was to book Las Casas, really the only place to stay if you want to experience luxury, history and genuine Andalusian culture. Beds are generously sized, crisp,... The years have not been kind to the hotel and it's in need of major renovation. Too many years of painting over what needs fixing and replacing. It's a shame because you can see it was once a gorgeous and unique property. The carpeting in the room was faded and worn. Even the couch and tapestry in reception were torn.... More

We stayed in room 21 in early June. The room was a junior suite, and certainly delivered on character and space. The room had a separate private courtyard, which was a great addition. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful and valet parking was a breeze (once you find the hotel - use a GPS!). The only disappointment during our... More

Stayed here in 2012 - absolutely wonderful. Beautiful smells of jasmine floating around the courtyards. Sumptuous bedroom - very secluded. Room was very clean and tidy. Made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I remember it was Corpus Cristi when I was there - all the church bells in the city rang at midnight and the pageant... More

We stayed at this hotel in summer 2009 ( this year option not shown on selection). We got a deal where 3 days cost less than 2 days. We travelled by coach from Portugal. Parking in Seville is not recommended and is expensive. Train station not far away and lots of other forms of transport available, including bike hire. Hotel charming,... More

I spent a couple of nights in this hotel a few years ago. I didn't remember the name until I saw it in TripAdvisor. And I absolutely agree with those who loved it. And on top, it is situated in the very middle of La Juderia, i.e. the loveliest part of beautiful Seville. Simply a must.

A most Andalucian of hotels, this establishment has been fashioned from a cluster of houses, once forming part of the ghetto in the Seville of the Goden Age. Cleverly combined into a hotel, the various buildings are linked by courtyards and passageways, providing a surprise around every corner and an adventure every time you walk from your room to have...
