We were vacationing in January so unfortunately we weren't privileged to see the gardens at their peak! Would go back just for that! The grounds are massive and include a pool and manicured landscaping. We were the only guests so it was nice and quiet. We had dinner and breakfast served every day by a lovely lady who has been... Loved this charming place. So quiet and pretty. Had the excellent pool all to ourselves and the gardens are very large and pretty in the spring. We were the only guests and it would be a shame to spoil the tranquility by having lots of guests stay, so I say "don't go"!

Beautiful old building, well maintained with huge, almost manicured gardens. Great pool in the garden area with the occasional hoopoe pecking around the sun loungers.
