WE enjoyed our stay at the Posada del Lucero for several reasons. The customer service was excellent, the location was ideal for getting around the city, the buffet breakfast was lovely, having freshly cooked eggs and bacon each morning alongside a very full selection of meats, cheese, pastries, fruit, juices and cake. The room was a bit warm, but we... More

We should start by saying that obviously this is only place we stayed in Sevilla, and we chose it because it was modern. So many of the places in Sevilla looked shabby or rundown. So with that in mind, we definitely got modern. And, we don't have any complaints the way other people do on here -- we thought the... More

I chose this hotel because I wanted a change of pace from the small, traditional hotels I had booked for my first week in Spain. I wasn’t disappointed, it was just as advertised. Contemporary and sleek in an elegant, old building. But I’m not sure that I would return. The hotel needs updating (upholstery was stained and there was an... More

Although centrally located it did not leave us with a particularly positive feeling. Reception staff lacking professional edge and chaotic. Rooms clean but spartan and unimaginative. Breakfast prices a rip off. Parking nearby for one day costs over €22. More

Great location, staff very helpful and very accomodating. Our room had no external window so a bit stuffy and there was a smell of sewage in the bathroom. However, this would not prevent me from staying here again. Great tapas bars very close to the hotel. More

Good location with easy walk through Barrio Santa Cruz to Cathedral and Real Alcazar. There are excellent tapas bars nearby including El Rinconello (one of oldest in Seville). The rooms are stylish with minimalist decor but they lacked functionality as there was insufficient storage shelves for a 4 night stay. The public areas were quiet but there was noise from... More

Stunning hotel in terms of its architecture. We stayed in two separate room (one room at the beginning of our trip and another at the end of our holiday). Some rooms can be quite dark but are of a really great size and beautifully in a minimalistic way. Had toast with tomoatoes and black coffee for breakfast each morning and... More

I liked this hotel (the other reviewer is right about the small step trip hazard in the courtyard!). It has lovely interiors and is very quiet. The rooms are big - my friend's room was bigger - and the bathrooms are great with fab mixed rain/normal showers. My room, unfortunately only had a very thin window that looked onto the... More

We paid 139 euros a night for 3 nights on our honeymoon. We really enjoyed staying here. The hotel's set up is beautiful, very architectural conversion of a old mansion. (Mind you, the little step in the courtyard is something of a trip hazard.) I would not get a room on the front because there would be quite a bit... More

This hotel might look very nice in the photos and the Guardian gave it a positive review - but avoid at all costs! The staff are surly and rude and the hotel is definitely cheap style over substance. Despite an initial warm welcome from the hotel concierge the most service you get from the rest of the staff is a... More
