Booking was a little difficult in English, and I was surprised when a charge appeared on my credit card right after I made the booking (I wasn't aware that they were going to charge in advance), but everything turned out just fine. The location is excellent (make sure to check out the fried seafood restaurant on the corner), especially for... More

I got this place cheap about 6 hours before I travelled to Seville during the busiest time of the year. I just needed a place for one night. It was adequate and in a very good location. It was within walking distance from the train station and the major sites. And the staff were quite friendly. I recommend if you... More

I'll start with the positives: It's close to plenty of restaurant options, and to the cathedral. It's relatively cheap but I've stayed at nicer places for cheaper. We got our own bathroom which was well worth it. Negatives: We got there at 3 in the afternoon and the door was locked with no one around (it's down a little ally).... More

My wife and I stayed here this past May during our travels through Andalucia. We booked a private room at the Pension, since we wanted to save some money while staying in Seville. the Pension San Benito was perfect. We are not used tio staying in Hostels (this is just a very nice hostel), and were very happy with our... More

Our room had no window or ventilation (to get air, you had to open up the top part of your door that gave onto the common courtyard - you can see this in some of the pictures) and the problem was compounded when we had to use the bathroom.... The pension is run by a very nice family that let... More

Pension San Benito Abad is a nice simple pension in the heart of the funky part of Seville. Right in the middle of all the action. Bars, restaurants, tapas bars and a great ice cream maker. More

I chose this accommodation based on the reviews here, and have been very disappointed with what's on offer here. Small rooms with no window, no door-just a curtain to the en suite. I have stayed in every kind of accommodation over the years and the only way this venue can be rated as anything more than good is if you're usual... More

Thin walls, as mentioned in previous emails- this was the same in all three places I stayed in whilst travelling in Andalucia (this wasnt the worst). But it was a good place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the main street. Close to small shops where you could buy bread, jam, fruit, drinks etc. Rooms clean. We... More

This review reports only on one of the apartments available at Pension San Benito Abad. The apartment has a living/dining room, a bedroom with twin beds, a bathroom, and a kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, and washing machine (clothes can be hung out on the roof terrace, which is used only by people booked into the [two, I think] apartments.... Excellent location, and generally a clean hostal, but our room was on the 1st floor without window. So, very dark and damp. There are also all kinds of rules, including not to take shower after 11. Beware that the walls are very thin and everything is heard (what your neighbor does or who says what outside) day or night. More
