This hotel hasn't got a restaurant, hasn't got a bar, hasn't got a car park but has got character. I loved it! Slap bang in the middle of Vitoria, on a pedestrian street, it's just where a visitor to Vitoria needs to be. No restaurant, no problem. Just walk 10m across the street where the pleasant ladies in the USOKARI... More

My room overlooked the (pedestrian) street, and had a lovely little balcony glassed in with coloured glass. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. NB: Very few people in this area speak English, so brush up on your Spanish. More

Dato is right downtown on a pedestrian-only street. Parking is very close, though. We loved our brief stay in Vitoria and Dato was a big part of that. Our room was charming....all kinds of funky decorations. We had a balcony looking out at the street. Despite the proximity to the street, it was still quiet. Highly recommended. More

This hotel is excellently placed. Our room overlooked the pedestrian street but the early morning street cleaner woke us up both mornings. On the plus side, the street was always very clean (perhaps we should have the same in the UK!) Our room was quite small. Our friends had a much bigger one. Luck of the draw. This hotel is... More

The room and the bathroom were clean. The bed was very comfortable The hotel is very close to the railway station, the city center and the university. The hotel was relatively quiet. The price of the room was very cheap. Internet access in the room, but not free. More

My daughter and I stayed two nights at this charming hotel at the end of April. A very sweet and clean room, comfortable beds and overlooking a very quiet pedestrian street. (Except for the early morning street cleaner). A delightful and friendly staff. Also very close to a couple of wonderful, very popular tapas bars and literally a short, straight... More

Stayed in this hotel with my wife during a recent tour of the Basque Country. It was recommended to us by a local friend mostly because of it´s location and affordable price. In the end, we really enjoyed it. It´s a smallish hotel housed in a classic building on a pedestrian street. The first two things one notices are the... More

Rooms at the front of the hotel are cramped and very noisy. You must ask for a room at the back of the hotel. The rooms are cluttered with tacky plastic things, but lack basics such as bed-side lamps. Lumpy beds. The bathroom doors are made of glass, so you have to be very friendly with your partner! OK for... More

This hotel has two locations. The main hotel is on the main shopping street in the new part of town and this is where the reception is located. As there was no room available in this section we had a room at the hotel's other location around the block (a few minutes walk). The room was on the 4th floor... More

We booked the Hotel Dato direct and chose a room with balcony for €50 per night. The hotel is very well located on a nice street close to the train station and taxi rank. The staff at reception were very pleasant. Our room had lots of Art Deco ornaments/clutter with little space for suitcases. There was a frosted glass door... More
