The staff is very friendly and efficient. All major sights are within walking distance. Rooms spacious and clean. Breakfast very good. The coffee shop at the entrance does not belong to the hotel and might deter some people to enter the Hotel as it is the exact opposite I recommend Room Mate Vega warmly. More

We stayed at the Mate Vega for two nights. It is barely a block from one of the entrances to the Plaza Mayor and a 10 minute walk to the university and the cathedral. It couldn't be better for exploring the old town section of Salamanca. It is directly across the street from the permanent market, which we always enjoy.... More

We stayed here recently for 4 nights and could not have been more pleased with the location....rooms are a bit on the small side and paying a 10 euro supplement got us an "executive" room on the top floor....highly recommended.....staff were very friendly and breakfast entirely adequate...we don't hesitate to recommend. Very nice hotel spot on in the very centre of Salamanca. Parking is in the garage under the hotel, which is a nice extra. Location is fantastic, whether for the historical monuments or shopping, restaurants and night life. Very friendly staff. Excellent rooms with everything you'd wish for. Recommended, certainly. More
