Slightly old fashioned ,interesting with spanish furnishing and decorations, rooms clean with aircon,breakfast ok in large room on 1st floor,all rooms en suite.Only drawback is that if you are on the front the noise from the bin men,skateboarders can be excessive especially at 03 and 04 in the morning. Hotel is a 3 minute walk from Las Ramblas and two minute walk to pick up the hop on/hop off tour bus. It is clean and very old world. Breakfast is included in the room price and is plentiful enough to get your day going. Staff was helpful. Would definitely stay there again. More

We stayed 3 nights in March 12 on a city break. hotel is in a great situation. Our room was at the front of the hotel. Yes some street noise but mostly first thing in the morning from street cleaners and bottle bank directly opposite the hotel, but remember this is a citycentre hotel. No way is this hotel five stars or even three. Either we have very high expectations or other reviewers have very low expectations. The street noise was unbelievable.
