We clarify that our rooms with ceiling are separated with a wall and upon that wall we placed a mirror to create sense of depth and continuity in the restored ceiling. The location is perfect: plaza Catalunya is a 5 min walk away. Metro line 1 is in front of the building (we were in room 1 and only heard a slight rumble, totally not disturbing). Such a nice hotel and extremely friendly and serviceminded staff. Hotel is close to everything, rooms are nice and charming and breakfast is so good with a lot of homemade food. All in all made our experience in Barcelona better and we will come back!
