This hotel is in a good location in the gothic quarter, about 5 minutes from the base of Las Ramblas. The hotel itself is nice - well appointed. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was too expensive (12 euro each) - better to go down the street and get a coffee and a croissant for $3.... More

I liked this hotel, great location in Gothic area, can walk to many tourist sights, it is a little noisy however, open the room window and you hear people chat on their phone, water down the plumbing pipes.... Lol interesting ambience... My room faced an inner area not the street. Staff were great, room clean, a little small but it... More

The hotel is very cute. We had a balcony which looked out down the street. The only problem with the hotel is the noisyness at night. Lots of bars must kick out and the people are loud! The hotel is 20 minute walk to the beach (maybe less) and has great bars and restaurants. We would recommend trying the 'hook'... More

Don't be fooled by the pictures like I was, this place a hostel with all private rooms. The beds are made of rocks, no comforter, heat and A/C is centrally controlled with your only option being on/off. The walls are made of paper and the street noise and noise of hotel guests was completely miserable. No shampoo or conditioner, and... More

We stayed three nights over the Easter weekend in Barcelona. The Hesperia Metropol was in a great location, close to Las Ramblas, the Gothic Quarter, and the port. The double room was a bit on the small side. The bathroom was was decent, and had a few amenities (sponge, soap, toothbursh), but no shampoo. The safe did not work in... More

The hotel was fairly easy to find just off the ramblas. It was close to the marina where we spent most of our time in the evenings and not far from the main square where you can pick up the bus tours. The staff were really helpful, recommending places to eat and giving advice on other sites and taxi fares.... More

I visit Barcelona once per month for work and I have tried many hotels. This one is very convenient and good value for money if you ate looking for a descent 3* hotel. I was impressed overalls. Very good breakfast and very friendly staff. Internet rather slow but ok to check emails etc - it's free. Would recommend More

When the Mobile World Congress is happening is Barcelona, hotel prices are trippled. So difficult to go price/quality ratio Hotel is very well located, near beach, Ramblas, restaurants,.. Nice team and Breakfast is ok, but not excellent (no fresh Orange juice, Jamon of low quality, coffee - dont even try it) Rooms are very small (was in 201) with view... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel with friends. We found it to be in a great location 5 mins walk to La Rambles & 2 mins to sea front. Many tapas bars/ restaurants close by, Picasso round corner & Sailor restaurant on front were really good value. Hotel rooms clean & comfortable although our rooms were... More

This is my second visit to this hotel after staying here a couple of years ago. I had booked three double rooms and one triple for some friends of mine for our annual weekend away. However, at last minute one of my friends was unable to come. When I arrived at the reception, I told the receptionist we wouldn't need... More
