Praktik is really good value for money. It's within 15 minutes walk of Las Ramblas, is close to lots of Gaudi's works, the staff are all very helpful and curteous and the rooms are a nice size (we had a massive bed). Me and my partner arrived to the hotel at 3'30pm for the cheek-in and the room wasn't ready when the check-in time on the web says 2pm. The reception staff didn't apologise or offer a compensatory drink; instead they just say: "Look for a bar and wait there". The hot water doesn't run in the morning in the shower.

A pleasant hotel with a nice room and great balcony. Having the sink inside the room isn't the best idea because of the noise that the plumbing makes whenever you use the toilet. Great location. Very nice breakfast.

It is in a pretty good location among passeig the garcia where you arrive by train from the airport and girona station that takes you in 5 minutes to Barceloneta, la Rambla is only 10 minutes walking distance. I would 100% recommend this hotel and will most definitely be staying again. We had a superior double room with a balcony which was great to have breakfast on.
