Last weekend we were in Spain for our son's band tour. During his rehearsals, we explored Tarragona. A very beautiful city on the Mediterranean Sea. Our hotel view overlooked both the sea and the Roman ruins. Just breath taking. We arrived early for check in due to our flight. I was not impressed with the front desk staff at all... More

Don't know why people knock this hotel so much - we had a great stay for a week here recently. All reception staff were extrememly helpful and friendly. One of the young women went out of her way to check train and bus times to Reus..even phoning the bus company to confirm times. A late checkout was arranged very easily.... More

This is a hotel with great potential in a spectacular location overlooking the Roman amphitheatre and the Mediterranean sea in the centre of Tarragona. Unfortunately it is in desperate need of some TLC and updating. The rooms are very tired and quite basic considering the hotel's 4 star rating. That said, the reception staff were friendly and helpful and the... More

First the only good thing... this hotel is perfectly located in the center of Tarragona, at walking distance to old town and shopping area, and has wonderful views to the Mediterranean see. Second good thing, for a Spanish hotel, breakfast is relatively good. Now to the bad things.... Staff is not attentive at all (well, you can find some who... More

This was a pleasant stay. The room was large and well maintained, and we had a balcony which looked over the roman amphitheatre and out to sea. the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was buffet style and very pleasant. The centre, bars and restaurants are nearby in the old quarter. More

We've been to this hotel three times, last visit was in the summer of 2011. We really like Tarragona, it is a great, working Spanish city. It isn't very big, has enough to do and has some very good places to eat, drink and relax. The theme park of Portaventura is just a few minutes away by train as well.... More

This hotel is next to all of Tarragona's major historic sites. We enjoyed the clean, well-maintained balcony room that faced the Mediterranean and the excavated Roman amphitheater at the shoreline next to the hotel, no welcome pack (toileterie) in the room but a message inviting you to ask for it if you need something. Nice staff. More

Stayed there for a conference and it was nicely located with view to the Mediterranean sea. Ask for newly renovated rooms. Attention Internet is not included. You can get vouchers for free internet access in the lobby only for 30 minutes per day. The rooms are clean, quite big only the beds a very hard for my taste. Can recommend... More
