Really excellent boutique hotel in the centre of the hotel. Although it is classed as a 1* hotel, I have stayed in worse 5* hotels - really clean and very hospitable - could do a lot worse!

I was pretty looking forward to stay sino's type of hotels. good value and feel good design with no-too-much goofs.

Stayed here for 4 nights in June. Originally had booked a hotel in the new part of town near train station but stumbled upon this hotel on internet, although was initially put off by the fact that it came up as a 1 star property. The hotel photos however, seemed to suggest this could not possibly be a true rating...

The fabric of the hotel is superb - a lovely and sensitive conversion of some old property and done sympathetically and visually well. Rooms are well furnished and all of the basics (hot water is hot, doors open well, lights illuminate the right places etc) work. Fabrics and furniture of a good quality - may start to look a bit...

Over the Summer of 2006 my son and I walked approximately 125-130 miles on the Pilgrimage Route, Santiago de Compostela. After eight days of hiking during which we stayed at numerous small and inexpensive hotels we arrived in Santiago and treated ourselves to a two-night stay at the Sino for two nights. The room was small but extremely well designed...

We arrived at the hotel which looked attractive, rang the bell and waited a while, thought there may have been another entrance as there was no movement from within (it wasn't late) on entering felt it modern, new, up to date, clean and nicely presented. Booking in was easy and the gentleman at reception was really helpful. We were supposed...

This pretty little hotel couldn't be in a better location, nor more charmingly presented. Our two night stay wasn't without problems, though they were mitigated by a reduction in the bill when we settled up. The rooms were comfortable, but the service was haphazard - breakfast was very poor, which was surprising in a hotel which prides itself on its...

Cannot fault the location or the ambience. Rooms were comfortable and beautifully presented.
Would not advise using the restaurant however as we had a bad experience. There were three of us dining and one had a great meal. However, the other two meals were not good. One in particular was appalling - the fish was uncooked in parts and pink....

The Hotel Sino was just what we required for our short stay in Santiago De Compostela. Great service, great price, great location, great rooms and a great location - you can't ask for more!
The rooms were clean, had everything you needed (with the exception of English language TV channels) but most of all they were individual with the stone...

We arrived for a 1 night stay whilst on our way to Portugal. Plus points of this hotel is by far the welcome and service received. Not only did the owner give us a map of the best bars to go, they also at 10.30am the next morning, when we thought we would be too late for breakfast, their reply...
