Great location, staff was nice. Updated baths, in the heart of it all! Wifi worked great which is hard to come by in spain. Our air didn't work, but that was the only fluke. Bars and restaurants all around. More

Excellent location in the heart of Madrid! The Breakfast buffet was various and good. The personnel at the recption desk was very nice and gave us very good suggestions for restaurants and taxi service. The rooms are clean. the Wifi is free. More

right on Puerta del Sol, you can be in the middle of Madrid. The hotel was pretty, the rooms were a bit small but still okay. Please note, a taxi cannot get you to this hotel. So, if you have elderly people or a lot of luggage,do not stay here. A taxi can get you within a walk but you need to pass thru Puerta del Sol on foot to get there. The staff was rude, unhelpful and the hotel itself was a bit run down.... More

Very friendly and helpfull staff; it has the best location in Madrid, a short walk from all the main sites and mesones in city center. Just a wonderfull stay; we went with another two couples and we all feel the same way about the Moderno. More

Great Hotel,in a good location with very friendly and helpful staff. We had a room on the top floor with terrace that we used every afternoon to sit in the sun and get a rest from walking and sightseeing. Good selection of food at the buffet breakfasts. Rooms very clean and comfotable. Would definitely recommend this hotel.. More
