This hotel was excelelnt for your typical large, high service hotel. We came to madrid for the marathon and this was the host hotel for Team In Training-so there were hundreds of us fromm North America that converged on the hotel fairly early. Many of our rooms were not ready as the hotel had been full the previous night. Luggage... More

Service in general (check-in, restaurant, room service, house keeper, etc) is good. Most hotels in Spain have rooms with twin beds and bathrooms with two sinks. If you want to break this tradition ask for room 1102 or equivalent, and you will enjoy a large and comfortable room with king size bed. Air conditioning does not work properly, so if... More

Location is good with lots of good restaurants nearby, breakfast was really great, the sleeping quality also top with a comfortable bed and great variaty of pillows. It kind of has this 80's feeling over it but in a positive way. The staff is really friendly giving you a warm smile at all times. Can definitely recommend it. Btw, it's... More

Husband and I stayed here while visiting our daughter. We enjoyed our stay, from arrival to departure - easy check-in with attentive, pleasant staff. Our en-suite room was very spacious with a huge bathroom. Lovely, clean public areas. Breakfast was great, the casual dining room was good and the Albufera restaurant was worth a try. Location was good - just... More

If big hotels is your thing then go for it. Its well maintained but its not new. Our room was excellent in size (3 persons) and well equipped. I hate paying for wifi as i consider it basic amenity. Excellent and huge and efficient breakfast setup. More

Good locatin if you need to be around the Santiago Bernabeu stadium but also near Cozco metro and taxis are also available outside the hotel at all times. Not very convenient for those who wish to spend their time in the centre and around plaza major or Cava Baja. The rooms are a little bit tired (please get rid of... More

We stayed in the Executive Suite and the outlook from the room was terrific. It was extremely quiet and our room was made up immediately whilst we were having breakfast just down the hall in a private location for customers on that floor. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful and they all spoke English as well. The meals... More

We were attending a conference at the hotel, thus the rather unusual choice given a location in a very non-descript district which seems to have peaked in the late-1980's. On check in we were given an upgrade option which included breakfast and a "superior" room, which ended up being very good value for money. The room was very large and... More

Stayed here for two nights in March while on business. Nice and clean rooms and very comfortable bed. The hotel looks old and not very flattering from the outside, but is well maintained on the inside. Had everything necessary for business hotel, but charging EUR6 per hour for wi-fi was very disappointing. Tthe breakfast is very good, but charging EUR23... More

I recently traveled to Madrid with my husband and we stayed at the Melia Castilla. It was an amazing trip and the hotel could not have been better.
