We stayed here in early May for two nights. Hotel is older, of course, being right near the Puerto de Sol area. Fixtures and decor are dated and show lots of wear from use. Located on a side street off the Grand Via, but was noisy with lots of yelling and loud talking outside until about 11:00 PM, then it... More

Stayed at this hotel for a long weekend in February. We had a triple room on the first floor of the hotel immediately facing the side door of the church on the corner opposite. Although this hotel has a city centre location we heard absolutely no noise throughout our stay so do not be concerned if you do not have... More

The great location to sites and metro can not be overstated. Our room was spacious and clean. I am a hot shower snob and found this to be a five star performer. Fast, hot water. Rain fixture with a hand held option. Shower door that closes completely and keeps the floor dry. I am 6'5" and had room to spare... More

POSITIVE ASPECTS: - Central location: historical centre, pedestrian area, shopping streets. - Close to metro (250m from Puerta del Sol). - Efficient staff (although not very obliging). Matress had a sheet cover with plastic in it and they changed it straight away when I asked. - Clean room, (almost) soundproof windows. Bathroom with great shower. Towels & sheets changed every... Great location right in the middle of everything, walking distance to all the mayor attractions. The rooms are not luxurious but confortable and clean. The hotel offers free wifi which is a plus but very basic and not good for much more than checking emails, be aware that if you make any phone calls from the hotel you will be... More

I booked this hotel based on other TA reviews. The location of the hotel is perfect for seeing the sites and quick access to the metro. The lobby of the hotel looks amazing and the bartender is quick to attend to anyone in the lobby should they like a drink. The room was really large for Europe standard. We booked... More

This hotel was in a very good location and walking anywhere was no problem for us. We found that the lobby of the hotel was much better looking than the rooms. The rooms were old and tired looking and really need a good updating. That said, it was a fairly spacious room considering we were in Europe. The shower was... More

been in Madrid at the same area many times, but this is the best hotel I've stayed! Staff was very helpful to provide all extra amenities they have to offet to their clients, even umbrellas! I made late-check out with no charge and they kept my luggage til my midnight flight. Spacious, more than their 4-star calification, good amenities, huge... More
